Barking Mad Barclay Boy

brady going nowhere

Recommended Posts

Brady will still be at the club by the end of the transfer window if we do not get a left back in. And its looking highly unlikely we will now with the 2 top targets not wanting to come here. Unless we pluck one out of the air which will be from the lower leagues at best now then brady will still be a city player despite the money being offered for him.

He''ll be gone. Will be at Burnley without a doubt. He won''t play tomorrow. He will be sold and we will sign a left back on loan. Cameron Borthwick-jackson from united is my prediction.

If Brady stays its not the end of the world. Good player who can perform.

Indeed, but the big question is will he?

He absolutely must not be allowed to leave unless we have one, possibly two left sided players in the bag. Anything less will be shambolic amateurism.

I would have thought it could be in his best interests in the long run to stay put for the time being.

A good second half to the season in the yellow and he will likely attract better suitors than the dog-end/relegation threatened clubs that are reported to have shown interest thus far.

He can take his time in the Summer and get the best deal/club for himself.

It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that the Club gains as well. We might get better bids than those reported recently.

Both gain. The Club gains both ways.

We might even go up ourselves via a late surge into the play-offs (hic).

I''d like to keep hold of him at this junction. There''s no reason, if Neil wants to play 3 at the back with WB''s, that Brady can''t be a wing-back.

If the right money is offered he will go won''t he. And if we can bring in another left back then so be it. Tierney did a pretty good job when he turned up so it is possible to unearth someone.

It appears to me that the club have obviously decided on Que Sera for this season.

If we somehow do make it to the playoffs they will claim success, if we somehow mange to win the playoff final, they will claim it was spelt out at the AGM.

And if we don''t go up they will say we couldn''t bring the right players in and we have spent a season regrouping.

Catch 22 we can not sign another LB LM until we have banked the Brady money ,

So if we sell then our targets fall through we are stuffed

Could have bee projected for the future in player wages? Not that I pretend to know anything about club finances - just a thought

Swansea money just means we do not have to sell

so in other words that was needed to plug a hole in the finances not to reinvest that money is not in pot now !

So if we sell then our targets fall through we are stuffed[/quote]Surely it would all be done on a proviso basis? We can agree a potential deal for Brady with whoever, but on the grounds that we will only confirm and send the paperwork when we have a similar situation happening with his potential replacement. It could be as simple as "Deal for new LB is done, paperwork now sent for Brady to move" and that could happen within minutes of each other. If the buying club aren''t willing to deal on that basis - look elsewhere, just like we''ve had to on numerous occasions...

Having a Staropramen or two meself now to wash down the Haddock n Chips. Even checked news regurgitator Newsnow and no mention of it there either.

Maybe journalist went off half cocked, and it aint true. They printed it though.
