Why didn't Ollsson let the ball go in ?

Recommended Posts

Ah yes, Berra in the playoffs. That single decision cost the binners their destiny of a return to the premier league. It also triggered the call for Brexit. Hillary Clinton would also have defeated Donald Trump if Berra hadn''t been sent off.

Was it a clear sending off? Like Berra in the playoff or what? Wonder why Tettey got booked for dissent in that case?

Yeah, seems pretty odd to have blocked the ball when all we seem to want to do lately is let the ball go into the back of the net. Shame on you Olsson!

its the old dilemma...do you let it in and risk losing 1-0 with 11 on the pitch?or do you "take one for the team" and get sent off with no guarantee they will score the penalty and hope you get something out of it?they did miss the penalty.. and many times in the past we''ve seen 10 men win the match.what you can say is let it in with 11 and you are losing for definiteno one can say what will happen with 10.Suarez vs Ghana in 2006 springs to mind.

Either way we go into the next match with at least one first choice fullback missing and AN playing pass the parcel with the CBs.

You serious?

Last minute of a 2nd round World Cup game vs 1st minute of a Championship game.

His gut instinct should have said "were in a better position 1-0 down, than with 10 men and a penalty against us"
