Leeds v Newcastle

That''s slightly unfair though, as most were pleased at the time that we hung onto them.

If we had got good money for Brady, say 15m plus, and had strengthened other areas of the pitch then that could have been good business.

Not for me Morty, said in the summer both Brady & Naismith were missing in our fight for relegation and we could have got good money for them.

Considering we bought Pritchard and had Murphy back we really wouldn''t have missed them and added 15 million to our coffers for that back line!

It''s funny but both Naismith & Brady weren''t over keen to join City and both have under performed for the price we paid!

Turner, Bassong, Lafferty they''ll do for a start, off the top of my head.

And how about Ruddy, Martin, Tettey, Bennett, Dorrans, Jerome, Mulumbu, Hoolahan. Yes, good players but past their sell by dates.

AN needs to look at himself, at those players, and at those he keeps overlooking in Thompson, Canos, Maddison, Morrison and Rudd. They are our future, and I''m sure the faithful would want to stick with him were he to actually give these lads a chance amongst the likes of Pinto, Klose and Howson and Brady.

Why would we want Gayle when we have Naismith.

Sure Gayle would not be up to speed till April

Or if we bought him we could ship him out to Hami;lton

Probably the only difficult thing to take from watching this so far is despite Newcastle having a very, very talented squad they seem to be working harder and for each other more so than our players have done in recent games.

Although saying that it''s not realistic that we would have a manager like Benitez at our club!
A massive advantage for them, over us, was being able to completely refresh their team. They had the financial resources to clear out the players that got them relegated, we didn''t.
Was our wallet empty? 😉
