Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted November 24, 2016 As a player good honest pro and defender to boot. Young manager and got Fleetwood promoted now got scunthope top of league 1. Obviously good at sorting out defences and working on a tight budget with youngsters. Deserves a shot higher up the leagues and we could do a lot worse. Buh 0 Posted November 24, 2016 Questioning whether Alex Neil needs to stay or go is justifiedBanging on about his replacement is just boring, bore off Yorkshire. Why aren''t we Scunthorpe?Grow up.
TCCANARY 263 Posted November 24, 2016 History shows that we''ve at our most succesful when we''ve had a manager who doesn''t have two christian names as his full name. This should be a criteria in any future interviews.
Nuff Said 4,938 Posted November 24, 2016 Lambert and Walker are both recognised as first names. Yours pedantically.
Nuff Said 4,938 Posted November 24, 2016 And before anyone else says it: would rather have Alexander Graham Bell.
Nuff Said 4,938 Posted November 24, 2016 Surprisingly I can''t find anyone who has called their baby Roeder.

FenwayFrank 2,425 Posted November 24, 2016 I don''t remember you posting this when we were at Wembley
Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted November 24, 2016 Wembley was a great day out but in footballing terms a thing of the past. Neils first 6 months were excellent thereafter mixed and rapidly worsening
FenwayFrank 2,425 Posted November 24, 2016 You can push it into the past if you like but the point made that he couldn''t manage a Sunday league team is clearly bull$hite isn''t it ?
Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted November 24, 2016 That''s never been said by me. He clearly has some attributes he is honest and has proven he can motivate in the short term Roeder could also do the latter. It has often been said that managers are judged on their signings and substitutions and that is where he has been exposed badly if indeed they were his signings. Lambert by contrast hardly put a foot wrong with either and I know he is long gone but a good comparison
KoromaCrab 0 Posted November 24, 2016 It would be interesting to know if they were his signings, and if not who would eh have preferred.
