How about decent sensible buyers ? RedBull won''t be the slightest bit interested in buying us, so where are the suitable buyers you all seem to know about ?

Why''s that then? Recently they have been linked with moves for Forest, Leeds, Swindon and now MK Dons. Explain why they wouldn''t be interested in us?

Signs when to give up ownership?

Is it when your personal political and religious beliefs - coupled with an obstinate and arrogant attitude - all mixed in with a large dash of nepotism and cronyism. Has a great influence on how you personally perceive is the right way to run a business/football club.....?

When you say, it''s my club not the community''s!

Basically what was said by Delia in her recent press statement.

Selling to an outside ''investor'' is probably NOT going to happen. If fans are going to lobby for a change in ownership then why not lobby for a portion of Delia''s shares under the new trust model? The club has gone up in value many times since our current owners invested. How about Nephew Tom gets the equivalent in shares of Auntie Delia and Uncle Winnie''s original outlay, and the fans get control of the remainder?Delia and Winnie don''t profit, their profit in effect would be transferred to the fans.At least this way fans would get to act as custodians of their club and hence get more of a say in how it''s run.

Signs?

A credible investor wants to buy you out.

They aren''t porn barons or arms dealers.

They show how the club''s community ethic will be maintained.

They show a credible 5 year plan with plausible plan B''s should the ideal outcomes not be achieved

Their financial plans are coherent and reflect the current climate of spiralling player wages and the importance of television revenue as the primary source of income

They have a shared passion for the Club and the area, or at least confirm they will spend enough time here to obtain it...

They will offer you a decent price for your shares

They will honour your efforts of the last 19 years and continue your vision of a community based club which does not risk long term failure for a tilt at short term success.

Amazing, isn''t it. I could have sold the whole gaff to Vladimir von Saltmine by now three times over AND he would have brought Andrey Arshavin in as player coach.
