I know he conceded 5 on Saturday but I was desperate for us to go after him in the summer when at Southend, moved on the cheap but would love for us to go back in for him, better than McGovern and Ruddy in my opinion and potential to get better where as I think our keepers have peaked.

I have to agree with cusdp, the only real shots he saved were more or less straight at him. Didn''t really show enough to suggest he could potentially step up a level in the future.

He was a liability for Brentford - can you imagine him in the Premiership? Teams would score double-figures mainly from tap-ins from parried shots...

I would happily say Ruddy or McGovern are good enough for this league, so we don''t need to consider anything right now. If we get promoted a new keeper might become an option for us.

As for Dan Bentley, was very poor against us. He might have had a bad day or something, but certainly showed no signs he was ever going to be better than Ruddy or McGovern. Let''s not forget there is Rudd and Remi Matthews on our books as well.

Fair play then I didn''t see the game Sat so based on that I''ll take your word that he was poor. Know he was rated highly and saw him play twice for Southend when working down there always looked good, maybe that''s his level. Big John it is then!

The only time i have seen him was saturday and based on that game he was awful, didnt keep hold of anything.
