Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 10 Week 18

Recommended Posts

Welcome PUPs to week eighteen of

our tenth Rays Funds season. This week we have our youngest PUP Twidio in

charge of selecting the final six matches. Although he will be celebrating his

thirteenth birthday on Monday Twidio has been part of PUPs since the very beginning

when he was our mascot. As he got older Ryan started to make selections and has

become a valuable member of our team. I will never forget the when he won with

his final six two years ago. That was a real PUP power weekend and I think nearly

all the games were won late or in added time with score updates being followed on

this thread. I think Ryan is just the right PUP to get us back to winning ways

so let’s all help him with our very best selection from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed

on the William Hill or Bet 365 web sites.

Selecting from the Norwich

picks this weekend is The Great Drinkell. TGD has been with us since those

early days too and another of the friends I''ve made through these threads. Drinks is also a previous and memorable winner when he correctly

selected Russell Martin to score in his turn two seasons ago. That goal is

always worth another look :-

I''m sure TGD will find something good for us again this weekend. You have a tenner to spend

Paul. Split how you like on the selections from the PUPs and your own.

So now I’ll hand the thread

over to Twidio and The Great Drinkell. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our

best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes

Syndrome boys and girls..

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Ryan and Paul ... the thread is

yours.......[:)]..........

The first ever Rays Funds presentation.

Hi all, off to Turkey this week and a death or glory punt at Fenerbahçe vs. Besiktas (away win).

For the City bet I''ll go for a high anxiety/tension match with two red cards.

All the best PUPs!

In an effort to improve my unimpressive profitability score I''m going for Sparta Prague to beat FK Teplice.

For City''s game? Tricky as things are, but 2-1/Jerome anytime seems a good bet.

Good luck all!

Best of luck to Ryan and Paul!I''m off to Belgium this week (not literally). Waregem are top of the table, with a home record of 5-3-0. Their opponents, Waasland Beveren, are fourth from bottom with an away record of 0-1-6. Odds are in the region of 4/9.The Norwich match is a very tough one to call. However, Russell Martin has a habit of popping up with goals when you least expect him to, so Martin to score anytime at 17/2 is a decent outside bet.

For me it''s a home win for Bristol City against ....... Now who is it they play?!!!!

And for TGD (Drinkell was is favourite former striker) we will win now Ed B has left his dancing. We will dance our way to,a convincing win Saturday. I expect 3 or 4 goals for us!

Good luck to you both.

A nice Sunday fixture at reasonable odds for Mr Twidio :-Serie A Ecuador: Emelec vs. Universidad Católica, home win @ 2/5.Emlec have a home record of: W8 D1 L1 F23 A9Universidad''s away record is:  W2 D2 L6 F8 A22

For The Great Drinkell, a Norwich win or draw seems to be the safest choice, as we''re starting to go quite far from historic norms in terms of losing consecutive games.

Good luck all!

FA Cup for me this week, and heading to Devon and looking for Plymouth to ease past Newport County with a home win. Good luck Twidio, I''m sure you will do us proud.

For the City bet looking for this horrible run to end with a 2-1 win, good luck TGD, and to all Pup''s.

I''m never usually that keen on the idea, but I''ll dip into the FA Cup this week to back Millwall vs Braintree - Home Win. A few leagues apart, Millwall are doing OK and are on the fringes of the play-offs and have only lost twice at home in the league so far this season. Braintree are doing less okay and lay 21st in the National League. It has the potential to be a tight game, but with a couple of leagues between them and tied in with the intimidation of visiting The Den, I''d like to think Braintree won''t be able to prosper.

As for the Norwich bet, it is a very tough time for us. I''d consider Norwich to win 2-1 and CamJam to score first @36. I can''t see Oliveira or Laffs starting ahead of him as long as he is fully fit

after a successful foray for some value in Bundesliga 2 last week I return for an away win for Stuttgart who are playing well against a woeful at home fast plummeting Aue.

As for City, pinto & and a return to form will happen at some stage; Now the Ed Balls SCD curse has been lifted its all steam ahead for a 2-0 home win. Definitely. Maybe. Probably. Blind Faith. Its the hope that kills you.
