Green and Yellow fellow 0 Posted December 10, 2016 During the week Alex Neil said his main focus was working on what Norwich are good at. We seem to be pretty good at conceding.

Willmeister 35 Posted December 10, 2016 Needs at least a double change at half time. Don''t think we have even roemotely threatened their goal.

hogesar 9,654 Posted December 10, 2016 You don''t half go a bit over the top Ricardo, "prepare for a long stint in this league". Yeah, based on what? Anyway, we''ve been terrible. You have to build on results like last week and even a draw out of this game would be a bad result, but losing should really send signals to the board. Yeah, based on what? How about "results" or lack of them for starters!! Thought that was obvious.
ricardo 7,380 Posted December 10, 2016 Its taken a while to show through but I said at the time that the sale of Bradley Johnson was a mistake. Its coming back to haunt him in these sort of games.

Indy 3,296 Posted December 10, 2016 I had such high hopes today, but not point having an attacking line like we have if we can''t get the ball to them.Bassong sounds like he''s back to his normal level, Dorrans & Howson not controlling the midfield like last week.Still I think this front line can turn this game around, the first 15 minutes crucial or the next goal.Seriously having to ask where the hell have the players gone today? Why do they all look piss poor? Why can''t we have just one or two looking poor why is it the entire team?
Chesney Hawkes 0 Posted December 10, 2016 Nobody can question that we are currently underachieving, can they?

hogesar 9,654 Posted December 10, 2016 Which is fine Ricardo, but a ''long stint''? Manager and players change. Just because this back 4 can''t defend doesn''t mean the same will be the case post January, or next summer, etc etc.But yeah, we''re pretty f*cking dreadful. Wonder if neil has balls to take Josh Murphy off at half time[/quote]Yes I''m still pleased that the twins who have been at the club since they were 12 started together today. I''ve followed their progress through the ranks since 2006. If you consider how many of the temporary highs and lows we''ve had since then you might begin to appreciate what this could mean to supporters who stick with it through thick and thin. Try appreciate what that means in the context of those ten years. Another reason to be proud is that the posters on this board contributed to the twins progress through Rays Funds. Some things mean a lot more than temporary form.
vos 155 Posted December 10, 2016 Unbelievable tactical decision to play both Murphys in this match. Cannot afford two wide attacking players in an away game. They are both weak in the tackle and there must be huge gaps in our midfield. Does anyone seriously believe that Klose has had so many poor games to justify the return of the inconsistent Bassong. nutty nigel 7,527 Posted December 10, 2016 OK Vos. But why wouild it have been better if Neil had been able to field an unchanged team with Naismith there?
ricardo 7,380 Posted December 10, 2016 We have conceded nearly three times as many goals as Brighton but you can still find plenty who think we will finish above them.Aint gonna happen.
Indy 3,296 Posted December 10, 2016 Yes Klose has been poor, Bassong deserved the start today. As for both wingers, if we had the ball we would see more of them, Dorrans & Howson need to pick up their game and the defence to stop heading the ball out or directly to the Barnsley players. Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted December 10, 2016 Wake me up at the end of January something may change then. This season is looking a complete write off and even he isnt that bad to get us in the relegation zone. So it is when he gets sacked this season not if and being in the championship next season anyone''s guess who will be in charge at the start of next season and what players we may have
