Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 10 Week 19

Recommended Posts

Welcome PUPs to week eighteen of

our tenth Rays Funds season. This week we have Kathy in charge of selecting the

final six matches. Kathy’s a real star in our great team of PUPs. She’s twice

won before when making these selections and is on top form this season with

14/17 82% winning picks. Kathy also always supports us all at our socials and

is a regular when we all meet up after games at the Nelson. Like me this is

Kathy’s 50th season supporting our beloved Canaries at Carrow Road.

And like me I know you PUPs won’t believe that’s possible unless we started

going before we were born…

We can all help Kathy to her

personal hat-trick by giving our best selection from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed

on the William Hill or Bet 365 web sites.

Selecting from the Norwich

picks this weekend is Molly Windley. We are in very safe hands this week

because Molly has been brilliant for us since joining last season and already

has wins when making both sets of selections. Once again we can help by giving

our very best suggestions for our game at Barnsley on Saturday. You have a

tenner to spend Molly. Split it how you like between the selections you choose from

the PUPs and your own.

As it''s Kathy''s week, and also because I''ve fathomed out how to do it, here''s the latest standings in the PUPs section of the Canary Challenge : -

I’ve provisionally set the

rota for January. Please let me know if the dates are ok with your selections

this week: -

Final Six Matches

07/01/17 – JB

14/01/17 – Mandie Moo’s Mear

Kat

21/01/17 – Cosmic Twin

28/01/17 – ChelleCity

Norwich Match

07/01/17 – Lessingham Canary

14/01/17 – Hammond1612

21/01/17 – Fiery Zac

28/12/17 – Lake District

Canary

After The Great Drinkell’s

fantastic win last wee and the pledges for November the presentation pot is now

up to £1275. That’s a fantastic

effort to raise so much in just 8 months.

Here’s a picture of some

Nelson Numpties : -

So now I’ll hand the thread

over to Kathy and Molly Windley. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to

success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the

Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls..

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Kathy and Gary ... the thread is

yours.......[:)]....

Thanks for the glowing intro Nutty. Like you I started supporting City in a previous life......

There have been some pretty awesome performances on here just lately. I''m very conscious of keeping it going, so I''m going to need all the help I can get from you canny PUPs.

Thanks also Nutty for putting up the PUPs Canary Challenge table. I don''t mention it much on here as I know it''s not everyone''s cup of tea, but it gives me the opportunity to mention that PUP Chelle City is nicely positioned to win us some money this season. For those of you who don''t know if one of these PUPs teams finishes in the top four of the main competition then their prize money goes to the CSF. Sounds a tall order doesn''t it but the good news is it can be done. Seven years ago PUP Til1010''s Canary Challenge entry won £250 for the then Rays Funds, which we were all over the moon about. With any luck Michelle will be able to do the same for us this season.

Anyway, I digress. Back to the matter in hand. Let me have as many of your selections as possible and I promise to consider every single one before choosing my final six. This is likely to be early Friday evening if that''s OK Nutty.

Hit me!

Yes Kathy it would be awesome if the main winnings went to our fund again. And of course there''s always the glory of being top PUP even if its not enough to win.

Does anyone have the know how to post the super six league table? I''ve tried many times but can only post a link.

In bocca al lupo Kathy...the world needs more bright, articulate women in positions of power....

Osasuna vs Barca - Away win

As for the Norwich bet Inreally genuinely think that Norwich will win well. Suspect that Pritchard will be on a high, exactly the kind of mindset that works well with attacking set pieces.

Might be a specialist bet, but:

Pritchard to score from a set piece.

Parma 👌👏💰💰🌲👊🏼👍

My bonkers bet for this week is Man Utd vs SPURS - Away Win.

I think Spurs are a better side than United and will have a day''s rest advantage after Eurooean exploits. At 2/1, I think they represent decent value.

Its my honour to be in the hot seat for the Norwich selections this week so will do my best to get a return for such a great cause.I`m the king of draws this season, shame I have been trying to pick winners, so more in hope than expectation I offerSlovakian Super Liga and Zilina vs Zemplin and a home win at around 1.20Will choose my City selections late Friday night so plenty of time to put your suggestions forward. Good luck to all, especially Kathy and my thanks as always to Nutty for all he does.

A wounded Man City to bounce back and win away to free-falling Leicester at 8/11 seems a good bet.As for the City match, let''s go with the tried-and-trusted Norwich to win and both teams to score. Only 3/1, but back-to-back clean sheets seems unlikely, and we still look like scoring more than once.Best of luck to Kathy and Molly!

Hi all,

A trip to Germany see''s bottom vs top as Ingolstadt take on Leipzig who I''ll back for an away in. Ingolstadt have lost 7 of their last 10, whilst Leipzig have won their last 8! Leipzig are the joint top scorers in the league, and have the second best defensive record in the league. The match currently has fairly good odds for a top vs bottom clash @1.8 on Bill Hill.

For the Norwich bet I quite like the look of Norwich to win 2-1 and Pritchard to score anytime @31

Best of luck to all you Pups, especially Kathy and Molly this week. Good luck guys!

I''m still feeling a little smug after Mr Pritchard''s late goal, so I hope Molly and Kathy feel the same after this weekend.

For Kathy I offer a much Improving Wycombe side (they have got some key players back and haven''t lost in the last 5- in fact I think they''ve won the last 5) they travel to a troubled Notts County side who haven''t won in the last four since beating lowly Boreham Wood in the cup. at 6/4 this looks a good value bet if your want to boost the returns.

For Molly I was very impressed with Olivera last week and for a little bit of the stake, I would back him to score 2 or more at 9/1.

Good luck both.
