nutty nigel 7,528 Posted December 14, 2016 Welcome PUPs to week twenty of our tenth Rays Funds season. The halfway point. This week we have Rays Funds legend with Inch High aka Inchy in charge of selecting the final six matches. Inchy has won 5 (FIVE!) times before when in the hot seat. Only Yankee can equal that. He’s also a great guy and a friend that I’m proud to have made through Rays Funds. But even with that proud record we have to get him the ammunition to shoot down Bill Hill. So we can all help Inchy to a personal and unprecedented double hat-trick by giving our best selection from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on the William Hill web site. Has to be Bill Hill because Kathy won us a free go last weekend. I’m selecting the Norwich picks this week. A rare case of forward planning because I know I will only have a small window on Friday in which to get the bet placed. Now I’m really going to need all your help for this so please find some great options for me to pick from. Just need Nigel to confirm for January: - Final Six Matches 07/01/17 – JB – Confirmed. 14/01/17 – Mandie Moo’s Mear Kat 21/01/17 – Cosmic Twin – Confirmed. 28/01/17 – ChelleCity – Confirmed. Norwich Match 07/01/17 – Lessingham Canary - Confirmed 14/01/17 – Hammond1612 – Confirmed. 21/01/17 – 28/12/17 – Lake District Canary – Confirmed. With pledges and donations that came in last week the presentation pot now stands at £1300. That’s a magnificent effort all since April. You guys are a great team again this year. Here’s an old picture of a presentation we did at Bayer Club : - So now I’ll hand the thread over to Inchy. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you make that personal double hat-trick. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls.. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Bernie ... the thread is yours.......[:)] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,5, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,4, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,2, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt, GMF,2, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary,2, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, Chellecity, Diesel Doris, Lessingham Canary, Molly Windley, Parma Ham’s gone mouldy, Feedthewolf, AJ, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £1772 for the Community Sports Foundation. AJ 1,218 Posted December 14, 2016 A trip to league one for me see''s Chesterfield play Bolton who I''ll back for an away win.Bolton are on fire at the moment, having won 9 of their last ten and sit 2nd in the league and poised to leap into first above Scunthorpe who have a tricky game against Millwall. Chesterfield have lost 8 of their last 10 and have conceded a rather impressive 39 goals so far this season. For the Norwich bet, I quite fancy Nelson to score first currently @
chellecity 0 Posted December 14, 2016 After being let down last week due to FC Ingolstadt somehow beating the league leaders, I''m out for revenge, ie hoping, nay expecting them to get a beating this weekend. ThereforeBayer Leverkusen (6-2-6 21-21) v FC Ingolstadt (2-3-9 11-24) - Home WinAnd for the match bet, a goal for Super Jonny Howson.Good luck everyone, especially Inchy and Nutty. Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,219 Posted December 14, 2016 Off to Germany this week with a glass of gluhwein at a warming Christmas market, a currywurst and vorsprung durch technik with:Darmstadt vs Bayern Munchen - away winViel Gluck Inchy...du kannst das sicherlich Schaffen....👌👍🍺🔥As for Captain Nutella''s Norwich bet I think it all depends whether we retain the excellent, reserved, professional and disciplined structure of Villa or regress to the hubristic gung-ho carelessness of previous weeks.Honestly I would be delighted to see a clean sheet, regardless of result. So that''s my bet: Norwich clean sheet In bocca al lupo carissimo Nutella..Parma 👍👌🌲🍾🔥😘💪🎂💰🍸😂
The Great Drinkell 50 Posted December 14, 2016 Looks like we have the A team in charge this week experience over youth I would suggest! Fot Inchy I like the look of Stoke at home against Leicester - after a poor start Stoke have been picking up points and Leicester''s away form is not one of champions. - with odds of better than even money this looks like a decent bet.Stoke V Leicester Home winNow for Nutty I''m going to predict a second home win on the trot with a more comfortable 3-1 score line.Good luck both of the pickers. wooster 134 Posted December 14, 2016 Good luck Inchy & Nutty.Reggie is going for a 3-0 win for Man Utd at West Brom (at 11/1) and Norwich to win 2-1 (at 15/2).I think Southampton will draw at Bournemouth in the south coast derby (at 11/5) and Norwich will win again 1-0 (at 7/1). ZLF 274 Posted December 16, 2016 Some tough choices this week, feeling pitfalls all around. Hearts home win v Partick is my choiceAs for tonight am feeling evens for a home win is tempting but my pick is brady to score at anytime
lake district canary 4,531 Posted December 16, 2016 Germany for me please - Dortmund v Augsburg looks a good bet for a home win.For us - 2-0 Howson to score the first goalGood luck everyone!
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted December 16, 2016 This week surely Sheffield Wednesday will see off rock bottom Rotherham United. For us, I can''t see two clean sheets in a row and Huddersfield will probably give us more to think about. But our home form is good so I fancy us to nick it 2-1.Good luck to all PUPs.
Molly Windley 76 Posted December 16, 2016 Good luck to Nutty and Inchy this week.Spanish Segundo B Grupo 1 and a home win for Pontevdra vs Caudal @ 1.53 . Pontevdra have won all 9 of their home games conceding only 4 goal and although Caudral have won twice away they have lost the other 7. Enhanced odds on Bill Hill for Jonny Howson to score in a 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 win of 13.0 which looks worth a small punt.
