MATCH THREAD WIGAN

Recommended Posts

We are seriously unconvincing. We are generally scraping results but the balance of the team is not right and the intensity is lacking. We have enough quality to win games at this level even when not playing well but the quality of our recent performances is massively underwhelming and is cannot be claimed that the team are playing well or that Neil is doing a good job at the moment.

Unconvinced by us as serious contenders at the moment. Take the 3 points but we are yet to play any of the top teams. Darren Eadie is now saying the players just don''t look fit enough

I think the two subs/injuries at h/t maybe didn''t help. Nevermind, three points. Next game please.

It is only good sign if we are getting 3 points with a bad game.

That means when we hit the form we should have no problem to keep it up.

Too bad I can only listen the games so cant really comment tactics, but at least it sounded that we managed to stay somewhat top off the game even if we raise our foot from the pedal.

We were not really playing that well before those subs. We got two goals out of nothing really and once again failed to impose ourselves fully on an inferior team. The balance of the side is not right and the manager seems to be fumbling around again trying to find it but not really succeeding in doing so. We will get enough points to stay in contention but this season will come down to a few games against the top sides and we need to be playing much better to get results in them.
It does seem to be a fitness issue -again. Why on Earth do other teams always seem fitter than us? It''s always been the same.
It isn''t - Ron Saunders use to have ''em running up & down St James'' hill [Y]
