song for the Murphy twins

Recommended Posts

Always thought that our version of this would sound pretty good if/when the Murphy twins are both playing at the same time.

Jacob, Jacob, Jacob ...... Murphy

Joshua, Joshua, Joshua......Murphy

(Sorry, can''t do clicky links).

Murphy

Oh Jacob Murphy runs down the wing for me

(Jacob Murphy)

(Jacob Murphy)

To tune of Heartbeat. Not original but fun. Especially if Snake Pit and Barclay alternate the middle bits.

Murphys on fire, your defence is terrified....

To be fair I''m amazed somebody didn''t start it last night.

(And before people question why I didn''t start it, try singing in the n&p...)

Funny, must be just me but I swear the Murphy twins a) had a song, and b) that it was sung fairly regulations last night.

This club has a couple of really clever people when it comes to songs, the sad thing is that unless you sit (stand) at the back of D or E block in the Barclay nobody seems prepared to bother singing.

As an example how many people actually know the words to ''just can''t seem to get enough'' beyond those lines and a few der der noises?

For the record, the Murphy''s song goes:

They''re the Murphy twins,

They''re the Murphy twins,

When they''re on the pitch we don''t know which ones which they''re the Murphy twins.
