We are not doomed

Recommended Posts

Despite all the concerns we look to be capable of surving and getting the necessary points to avoid relegation (yes I know our current total would give us 98 points at the end of the season). But we must not overstretch ourselves. We must not ''get above our station'' and become too big for our boots.Ambition is all fine... up to a point. It must be affordable. We should aim for 55 points then see where we go from there.
55 points? what a strange target or is that ipswich target at the end of the season?

we should be aiming to win the league end of story
It is based on those who argued for the club to aim for 40 points when we were in the PL.40 points guarantees you automatic safety, much as 55 points guarantees us the same in the Championship.Once we have reached that total we can decide whether to push on further. My thought is that we should aim for 55 points then look to consolidate (whatever that is).
