Bill 1,788 Posted September 23, 2016 ....... or will they let the driver have a tour round Norfolk ?Some nice parts within easy reach, as long as he is back by around 5.45It''ll probably be a coach as well, not a bus
nutty nigel 7,531 Posted September 23, 2016 I heard John Collier''s driving their bus and he intends to do a bit of window shopping during the game...

Mr Jenkins 0 Posted September 23, 2016 This will be a good test for us, highly motivated opposition who will throw everything into this game and probably give us very little time on the ball. Looking forward to seeing how we respond.

Thecanaryfan 0 Posted September 24, 2016 Yes and we will steal their hubcaps. Demolition job. 4 goal margin win. Heard it here first. Place your bets.
Eccles from Beccles 0 Posted September 24, 2016 Mr J, I think the ''oh dear'' is because you missed Humpty/City 1st''s attempt at humour, infinitesimal as it was. A shame that after so long away he is still as dull as something that rhymes with duck.
Mr Jenkins 0 Posted September 24, 2016 Yes, maybe I should have used a different thread as a vehicle to post a comment about the game.
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted September 24, 2016 haha guys, look at this guy! he tried to talk about football in a pinkun thread!Anyway, as for Burton, the thing that mainly stands out for me is their solid engine room. people like mousinho, choudury and naylor are typical football league midfielders, not afraid to get stuck in and comfortable on the ball. they have bought well with the likes of Jamie ward providing a bit of a threat on the counter and if we fail to get a grip on the game, they will punish us.Saying that, it''s a game where our quality on the ball should outshine them and we can find a way through their middle, we will have too much for their side. it''s a big if though.I went to school with their keeper as well, hes a decent player and has the height and agility though I never imagined he''d be a championship keeper! Good against penalties (he was at school anyway!)
BroadstairsR 2,163 Posted September 24, 2016 All teams will park the bus to a certain extent when they come to Carrow Road this season and the panacea is an early goal.Easier said than done though. From what I have seen of Burton they seem to have a more cavalier approach than most and might be less inclined to be ultra-defensive. They have scored seven away goals in four games this season but have let eight in.Clough has built a decent unit there whose main aim this season is survival. It is likely to be a good encounter and should have a few goals. GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,749 Posted September 24, 2016 Vehicular puns aside.....it shouldnt matter what tactics Burton employ today, this is as easy or hard as we want to make it for ourselves . With 2 teams worth having played well this past week and a near clear bill of health, Alex Neil has all to cards to play, and more off the bench.....really no excuses today.
