nutty nigel 7,531 Posted October 12, 2016 Welcome to week eleven of our tenth Rays Funds season. This week we have Jellytot in charge and picking the final six. Jellytot has been a great supporter of Rays Funds since the early days and is a passionate Norwich fan who’s inherited her father’s dislike of our rival team in Suffolk. I remember when she first started to pick she saw a selection for Ipswich from Jas. She immediately posted explaining that with all the fixtures available to pick from he shouldn’t really be picking them to win. Now at that time we had a top PUP called Gorleston (Gentleman) Jim. Ray and I loved Jim because we knew he would police our threads and come down hard on anyone who did anything to disrupt the flow. When Ray saw the post he called me “Uh-Oh Eddie… I think Helen’s going to incur the wrath of Gentleman Jim.” Sure enough a little later Jim came on and firmly explained to Helen that it wasn’t her place to question other PUPs picks. Ray laughed about it with Helen next tim,e they met. This is now a little story that we tell from time to time when we think back to the fun we used to have on here with Arrdee in the old days. Wherever Jim is I hope he’s well. I know he used to look in from time to time and he will always be part of our history on the Pink Un. Helen thought the world of Arrdee and wants so desperately to finally get her name on his signature. We really thought she’d cracked it last year only to be let down in the last game when Juventus drew 1-1 at home to Chievo. That result was a real kick in the teeth. So let’s all try our very best to help Jellytot with our top picks from the games on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on the William Hill web site. It needs to be Bill Hill this weekend because after Mr Apples’ really unlucky 5/6 last weekend we have a free bet to use. Making the Norwich match selections we have I’m A Banana (All grown up) who is another PUP who posted back in the days of Arrdee and Gentleman Jim. In fact I’m sure, like Jellytot, young ‘nana incurred the wrath of Jim back in those days. ‘nana is a great guy and I love that he still posts on our threads. Norwich City are a family club and there are quite a few families of PUPs on here. Young ‘nana and The Great Drinkell being originals from the start. Lewis deserves to have his name on Ray''s signature so let’s all try and help him with some great suggestions for our match against Rotherham. You have a tenner to spend buddy divided in anyway you choose. Just waiting for the last two to confirm for November’s rota. I’ll be sorting out Christmas before we know it…. Final Six Selections 05 Nov – Feedthewolf - Confirmed 12 Nov – Graham Humphrey - Confirmed 19 Nov – AJ - Confirmed 26 Nov – Mandie Norwich Match Picks 05 Nov – ZLF – Confirmed. 12 Nov – Internationals 19 Nov – Sonyc – Confirmed. 26 Nov – First Wazzock Which picture shall I post this week? I know…. Now I’ll hand the thread over to Jellytot and I’m A Banana (All grown up). Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls.. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Helen and Lewis ... the thread is yours.......[:)]......... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,5, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,4, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,2, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt, GMF,2, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary,2, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, Chellecity, Diesel Doris, Lessingham Canary, Molly Windley, Parma Ham’s gone mouldy, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £1611 for the Community Sports Foundation. Molly Windley 76 Posted October 12, 2016 Good luck to one and all especially tis weeks pickers Jellytot and I`m a BananaClose with last weeks pick of Lithuania, but you can`t trust the Scots and they sneaked a draw so that`s 4 draws on the trot for me.Sunday game in the Croatian HNL and a home win for Hajduk Split against Split at a lowly 1.14Poor odds for anything connected to the City game so a City win with a -1 goal handicap (win by 2 clear goals) @ 1.86 is the best I can offer. Arrdee found it hilarious ...☺Please give me your best picks pups! I need all the help I can get, I haven''t been too successful with my picks this season yet! gregt 66 Posted October 13, 2016 Hi everyone , a special good luck to my wife this week with the picks.I''m sure she will do a good job as she is quite a lucky person 😉My pick is ATH MADRID home win against bottom of the league granada For the Norwich bet I''d say Norwich to win both half''s
Hoola Han Solo 448 Posted October 13, 2016 My pick is Arsenal to beat the swans and how about Wes to get on the score sheet.May the force be with you.

Feedthewolf 4,846 Posted October 13, 2016 Very best of luck to our dessert-themed pickers this week – Jellytots and Bananas are go!Norwich to beat Rotherham for the final six, please. As for the match bet details, my ever-popular Norwich to win and both teams to score, please. An appreciation from 4/11 to 2/1 represents particularly exceptional value, especially given our propensity to leak the odd goal.
Platonic 1 Posted October 13, 2016 Hi allForgot my pick last week, big apologies - getting in early this week.Given Villa have a new manager I fancy them to finally get a home win with the old dead cat bounce. As for the Norwich bet, the odds are all pretty awful, so I''d have a small punt on a correct score of 3-1. Good luck all.
AJ 1,218 Posted October 13, 2016 Forest Green vs 2nd Bottom Guiseley - Home Win for me.Forest Green are on a great run with clean sheets to boot, Guiseley on a slight run themselves run with 2 wins in the past 2 games which should at least make the odds slightly more spicy but with a gulf in GD of 22 goals the home side shouldn''t have too many problems against a side that has shipped 27 goals in 15 games so far this season.Mr Jerome has been giving it some fighting talk in the press, so with Oliveira on his heals, I''d back him to score at the weekend for the match bet.Good luck everyone! Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,219 Posted October 13, 2016 Buonasera Jellytot...Can''t see past Athletico Madrid... not very original...chiedo scusa 👏👌👍👍🏼For Banana''s Norwich bet think Norwich to get and score a penalty might be a nice bet this weekend...Tanti auguri ai tutti Voi Pupetti...Parma 👏👍👌😘🍰💷💶
Mr Angry 1,555 Posted October 13, 2016 Basel''s odds of 8/15 to win at home look quite generous, 9 wins and a draw so far this season-although the draw was in the last match, at home to the bottom club.People have been saying we''re due to give someone a bashing, if it''s going to be against anyone surely it will be Rotherham. Norwich to win by 3 goals or more.Good luck to all PUPs and especially Jellytot and Banana (I''m happy that you''re out of the fruitbowl).

The Great Drinkell 50 Posted October 14, 2016 As I have a particular sweet tooth, the pickers this week are 2 of my favourites! so I''m going to give them a chance to win big.For Jellytot, I think with all the turmoil at Derby and the astonishing re appointment of Steve McClaren, they entertain a rival from the 70''s and a team in form in Leeds at a very tempting 4/1 I''ll take Leeds to walk away with the pointsDerby v Leeds away win.For "My little Boy" Nana - who we bought his first season ticket holder 13 years ago! - where does the time go- I''m pretty sure Klose will be rested or ruled out of this one and after the performance at St James Park, I think AN will give Ryan Bennett the shirt so Ill take Ryan Bennett to score anytime at 11/1 and if he doesn''t play then its a no bet.Good luck to both picker and to the boys in yellow
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted October 14, 2016 This week I am going to brave the hazardous world of the FA Cup with Dagenham & Redbridge to beat Wealdstone. For the Norwich bet, we might score a lot but we do seem totally incapable of keeping a clean sheet so a game with at least four goals in it seems a good bet.Best of luck especially to Helen who will win an all expenses paid trip to Chicago''s should she get six out of six [;)] and to all PUPs. Mr Apples 1,320 Posted October 14, 2016 Hi all, this week I''m going to go to Turkey for Gençlerbirligi vs. Galatasaray (away win) which looks good value. For the City bet I think we''ll smash Rotherham so I''m going for a City win, over 5.5 goals.Best wishes to this week''s pickers and all you PUPs out there!Apples
