king canary 7,603 Posted October 23, 2016 Took the goal very well. Still think he is an excellent player who will play for England in the not too distant future.
Indy 3,297 Posted October 23, 2016 Got gunned down after posting that my colleague and Southampton season corporate holder has said most fans there think he''s a better all round player than Sterling. At the moment certainly better value for money.Great to see him doing well under a very good manager.
Rogue Baboon 0 Posted October 23, 2016 When you consider we Bournemouth brought Ibe for 15million, Southampton got a bargain at 11million
king canary 7,603 Posted October 23, 2016 Redmond is good but Sterling is having an excellent season for City.
Graham Paddons Beard 2,429 Posted October 23, 2016 To many people in the game think Redmond is a great prospect, for him to be as useless as the "no final product" Brigade that used to appear on here. Worth a look in a few years time. I think he will be at a top six club.

He scored from a back pass (though it was a well taken goal) and apart from that has done very little. Barely touched the ball in the second half. Sterling has been much the better of the two. GJP 79 Posted October 23, 2016 Wish we still had him. Very good player.
havemyhowsonit 0 Posted October 23, 2016 Redmond who? Get over him for christs sake. Murphys time to shine along with Pritchard if the manager plays them
Alex Moss 2,165 Posted October 23, 2016 And don''t forget Canos, HMHIMaking Plans - could argue today''s goal falls under ''occasional brilliance'' for many Southampton supporters. Don''t think any of us doubt he has the talent, I think the question mark is over his consistency (or lack of).
Crabbycanary3 994 Posted October 23, 2016 I think the obvious reason is staring us in the face (head)When he was here, his hair was manicured to the millimetre. He has foregone that little luxury, and the scruffy beard/hair, has released his shackles. Football is a simple game really.
Hoola Han Solo 448 Posted October 23, 2016 I''m curious as to why so many are still bothered about him. He had some great moments with us, we got good money for him but he''s not a Norwich City player any more. Good luck to the lad and I hope he does well at Southampton, but I won''t be getting hung up on losing him.
