Number 9 0 Posted October 27, 2016 So we signed Nelson and I have to admit to reservations when the manager feels he needs to explain in great detail, Del Boy style, that he''s something special, I quote "got magic in his boots" So now some weeks on, I''m still waiting for the magic tricks. I haven''t heard abracadabra and there ain''t no glamorous assistant.You see before I was assured that he was magic, I''d seen a playing record which looked bang average at best.What chance of him getting a game and is he likely to pull a rabbit out of a hat?I''m concerned. Difficult for the new players to get going when they only get a few minutes here and there, or occasional matches. Some players need a run in the team to get their confidence, but I know that is a luxury that maybe we can''t afford, given where we want to be.
