kick it off 1,948 Posted October 4, 2016 Seen the adverts and thought it looked pretty interesting - will give it a watch at some point in the next week or two.
Drazen Muzinic 1,444 Posted October 4, 2016 Early reviews are very good.I watched the 1973 version again tonight to get in the mood for the series.
Hackedoff 0 Posted October 5, 2016 Thought it was brilliant. Stellar cast too.
Darth Canary1 91 Posted October 5, 2016 Damn, I gonna have to add to my ever growing list of TV shows to watch as it seems everyone is raving about it
SwindonCanary 455 Posted October 5, 2016 New films of old movies, now TV series of old movies. Does nobody come up with a new story line at the moment ?
FenwayFrank 2,457 Posted October 5, 2016 Struggled to get into it and turned over, loved the original though
AJ 1,218 Posted October 5, 2016 Currently halfway through the first episode, still waiting to see if it''s going to grow on me
im spartacus canary 0 Posted October 5, 2016 Like I said I watched it twice and glad I did cos I didn''t quite catch on to some things 1st time round like the relevance of the robots swatting flies that landed on there face. The shoot up seen with the orchestral version of paint it black is epic.
Van wink 2,994 Posted October 5, 2016 I hope there was no gratuitous nudity
FenwayFrank 2,457 Posted October 5, 2016 If there was I''ll try to watch it again 😀
im spartacus canary 0 Posted October 5, 2016
I hope there was no gratuitous nudity
Only in the context of the story vanwink all necessary 😜
Van wink 2,994 Posted October 5, 2016 Well that''s ok then, I don''t like to see breasts exploited for the filthy lucre.
FenwayFrank 2,457 Posted October 5, 2016 Watched it properly , no idea of the significance of the fly swatting or mass murder over a pint of milk. Already starting to come across as one of those that will go to series ten and then finish without a conclusion. Will watch next week though to see how it progresses. Thecanaryfan 0 Posted October 5, 2016 Just watched it. It''s pretty good. Lots of jubblies on show which ticks my boxes. Just finished ''The Night Of'' too, which was outstanding. This will suffice as it''s replacement.
im spartacus canary 0 Posted October 5, 2016 The fly swatting frank ? A sign they were coming alive and could feel things a human could.
AJ 1,218 Posted October 5, 2016 Think it''s one of those where I''ll give it a few episodes. Thought some of the scripting at the HQ was a bit drab but possibly expected for a pilot. Agree it''ll probably end up like lost with no real ending though
Katie Borkins 1 Posted October 7, 2016 Is this based on the scifI film where Yul Brynner went psycho robot?I wish a Blade Runner series would be commissioned, it would be all kinds of brilliant.
Hoola Han Solo 448 Posted October 7, 2016 Blade Runner 2 is out next year so you haven''t got long to wait.
Katie Borkins 1 Posted October 7, 2016 Ideally a series and not a film, but thank you for letting me know.
hogesar 9,618 Posted October 7, 2016 Enjoyed it! Surely fly swatting was more important as they''re programmed to not harm any other type of living thing....hence the fly is ignored by most..
AJ 1,218 Posted October 8, 2016 Absolutely, it means that they were perhaps altering their own code or whatever, because not only did she harm a living thing, but she also lied about the fact she never would
im spartacus canary 0 Posted October 8, 2016 OK I stand corrected 😔 but was a tremendous first episode.
FenwayFrank 2,457 Posted December 7, 2016 What an excellent first series that was. Looking forward to series
Van wink 2,994 Posted December 7, 2016 Haven''t watched final episode yet, it''s a fascinating series and one that you need to really focus on to keep up to speed.Looking forward to the finale.Somehow robot breasts look as good as the real thing 😀
Indy 3,283 Posted December 7, 2016 Yep have to agree, finally a good series, enjoyed it.I hope they don''t ruin the second series, the last new series I enjoyed was House, but after the third series it became tedious as it went into annoying lead character with daft subplots. im spartacus canary 0 Posted December 7, 2016 Agreed !!! haven''t watched this week''s yet , and I have watched some episodes without really knowing what''s going on but still thoroughly enjoyed it. Best thing that''s been on TV for yonks.

Chip20 69 Posted December 8, 2016
OT OT, Twin Peaks is returning next year ...
Are they the same kind of ''twin peaks'' described with depressing regularity above?
AJ 1,218 Posted December 8, 2016 Westworld season 2 not until 2018 apparently so seems like some serious planning and scripting going on for season two. I won''t spoilt it for anyone who hasn''t seen it yet but can only assume season 2 would be about what we see towards the end of the episode
