Crafty Canary 495 Posted August 20, 2016 To point out perceived deficiencies is not having a go at the club. The coaching at Colney has not been that good IMO. Last season the same mistakes were made frequently throughout the season. This means either the players were too thick to take in the coaching advice or the coaching was inadequate. I was not surprised that a new first team coach was appointed this summer. Anyone who suggests that Southampton''s coaching set up doesn''t knock ours into a cocked hat is having a giraffe. Just look at the players they have brought through their youth system and sold for huge fees and then compare that to ours. The owners have made a profit on transfer dealings selling thir best players year on year for huge profits. If Delia had done the same thing here even with their sucess our fans would have been bleating on about the lack of ambition in winning some trophies.
