Didnt see the game, however heard he sturned a number of good opportunities last night and had a bit of a shocker by all accounts!!

This could be his last chance to prove he can make it at the top this season and could see him becoming a bench warmer at Southampton unless he can finally forfill his potential.

Apparently Saints fans are moaning he is very one footed.

I watched parts of it and he looked the same ol'' Redmond he did for us, lots of promise but no end product.

If they were moaning about Redmond, I wonder what they were saying about Long - he missed a load of opportunities!

He had a poor game. Looked a bit lost most of the time stuck between coming deep for the ball and actually playing as a striker. Snatched at a chance that went well wide. Time will tell for Redmond though, as we found out when tried, he doesn''t suit playing up front.
