Beamback

Recommended Posts

Wigan have announced their game at Carrow Rd will be beamed back to their stadium..........

"Latics play at Norwich City in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday 13 September 2016Norwich v Latics is an all ticket fixture, no sales on the day.Carrow Road clash to be beamed back live to DW Stadium.Match tickets and beam back tickets go on sale to season card holders Saturday 27 August.BEAMBACK TICKETSAdult 2016-17 season card holders - £5.00Adult non-season card holders - £7.00Under 16s - £2.00http://www.wiganlatics.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/match-tickets-dw-stadium-beamback-norwich-v-wigan-athletic-3270986.aspx

Is there any reason why every City away match shouldn''t be beamed back to the stadium now we have the big screen? It''s been very successful when we''ve done it before and the extra income from food and drink sales can only benefit the club. What are they waiting for?

Wouldn''t the home team object to a beam back if the away allocation is not sold out? Would supporters be willing to travel so say, Wigan, if the match was shown at Carra Rd?

There is also the problem of broadcasting a game at 3pm on a Saturday.

It would be possible for games at other times, but I guess it is down to whether the allocation has been sold.
