Classy Klose not suited to Champs

Recommended Posts

We we''re all delighted TK decided to see out the current Championship campaign. However the cloggers in significant numbers as strikers may have the number of our Timm. TK looked class in the Pl but against the likes of Murphy and Donaldson in the Champs looks less of a class CB. Timm could have made a monumental blunder in staying with City may be languishing for the remainder of his contract and commited career suicide. A return to the Pl can''t come too soon.

Whether your continual negative threads are valid or not, it''s clear you''re just here to make every member of this message board feel as down beat as possible - which makes you a pretty bloody unpleasant person in my book.

The poster may be trolling but there is a grain of truth in there.Strikers spin off and out pace him rather easily, needs to step up physically and get a bit nasty in this division

A good defender is a good defender regardless of the division....... I refuse to believe that we were able to get promoted from this division with Martin at CB a couple of seasons ago.....or with Elliott Ward and Zak Whitebread a few seasons back but Klose can''t play in this league?!?

Timm will be fine, its RB position when Pinto is injured that bothers me, as we saw on Saturday, Whitts cost us 2 goals and has barely been league 1 standard  this season. Not been Martins greatest fan, especially in the centre, but Russ does a decent job at RB, he must be there if Ivo gets injured.

He has to adjust to the difference of the championship. There will be a lot more long balls over the top to deal with. Particularly against the binners we have seen the extreme version of hoofball. Whilst commanding in the air, he lacks the pace once the ball is past him to keep up with the striker. Playing with attacking full backs and a narrow midfield will leave the Cbs exposed. Keeping a high line (as we should be in the championship) but not leaving too much space in behind for the Cbs to have to potentially run back to will be a tough balancing act but one TK needs to adjust to quickly if we''re to keep our formation as it is now.

I totally agree with our defence need to be holding a much higher line, unfortunately any system with 2 holding midfielders sitting as deep as ours do means we end up sitting deep.

TK is a quality player just had a couple games against a couple big CF on their game.
