Nightmare scenario

Recommended Posts

We actually sign two strikers one who is rumoured to be Oliviera although yet to be confirmed plus an other. Cameron Jerome''s injury not cleared up by end of internationals. The nightmare scenario not playing Naismith up front however frightening that would be but rushing a not fully fit new striker into the fray and losing him for 6 weeks to a hammy or worse.

Any new striker would not be in his parent clubs plans and will need significant period to establish fitness time Alex Neil cannot afford giving the stick he has faced following Brum and the lacklustre start to the season.

Just one of the reasons clubs try to get business done early. Another being it quietens the fans clamour following a relegation. Neil''s managerial nous must be questioned this naivety may cut it at Hamilton. Can''t see this ending well.

Neal says “I don’t think you can have too many centre forwards who can score goals." Just appeared on PinkUn main page. Made me smile !

I don''t think you''ve gone far enough here Pete.

Clearly the nightmare scenario would be us signing Jordan Rhodes and Nelson for a combined £15m, Lafferty taking out Rhodes in training as revenge for Neil not playing him before signing for Cardiff, Jerome accidentally shanking a shot into Nelson''s face from close range causing a long term concussion before deciding this football lark is not for him and moving to Vietnam to become a spiritual healer.

And Naismith stays.
