Cardiff about to sign Rickie Lambert on loan. They have let Macheda and Le Fondre go, so maybe they will still be after Lafferty too but it doesn''t look promising.

I hate deadline day. Thought we''d finally be shipping some of the dead wood in Lafferty and Naismith, and instead we''re looking likely to get stuck with both of them.

As i just said in another post, we are short up front as it is, call them whatever you like, but City failed to bring new strikers in, so cannot let Laffs and Naismith go. We go with what we have, Kyle may indeed have  more oppurtunity of getting  a spot in our first elven...if he can ever persuade Alex. Good luck to him with that.

Whats the point if they dont play him ? The last match a prime example, get him off the books and let a young un on for the last 20, maddison can take naismiths role, at least maddison doesnt think he is better than the club.

My best guess is they met him in person and changed their minds. You can hardly blame them.

If I was manager I would release him.
