The Verdict

Recommended Posts

The Board must go.

After 20 years they are well past their sell by date and have no vision, strategy, energy or money to take the club forward.

The recruitment department is a shambles and the academy produces few, if any first team regulars. The Board members fail to provide any proper scrutiny over what goes on underneath them, yet they are very happy for those people to be scapegoats when things go wrong and happily accept their resignations in order to deflect attention away from their own shortcomings.

I feel very sorry for Alex Neil because he has been sold way short by the Board but now has to pick up the pieces and try to reverse morale that is sinking fast. If he fails, he will become the next scapegoat for Delia and Wynnie''s failures.

For the record, we are left with players who do not want to be here, especially Naismith.

We signed second rate goalkeepers for peanuts.

We failed to add a single player to the back four when it was obvious a clearout needed to be followed by new blood. Too many players here with the scars of relegation failures.

We spent £10.5 million on a midfield that did not need strengthening. What was the point of Pritchard when we already had Maddison? Surely that £8 million should have been held back to improve the area of greatest need? Why buy players to then farm them out to another club?

Which brings me neatly to the strikers. Having failed to land McCormack, the club had a jerk-knee reaction with Pritchard which consequently left them unable to compete for a top striker. Oliveira is no more than a second or third choice striker. Jerome is past his best and Naismith hates the club.

To make matters worse, instead of accounting to listeners for the Board''s many failures, Ed Balls today gives an interview to Radio Norfolk about his forthcoming appearance on a telly programme. Could you ever in your most bizarre nightmare imagine Sir Arthur conducting himself in such a ridiculous manner?

We really are a club run by pixies, of that there is no doubt whatsoever.

As ever some tw@t offers up his verdict but offers no names or idea as to who would buy out the shareholders.

So big Vince Delia and co say OK we are off, then what? Who will own the club? Have you found us a Chinese billionaire? Thought not. Shut up!!

NCFC have appointed the villain in Corrie Jez Moxey who specialises in buy outs.

If you had read one of Big Vince''s earlier posts this week you would have seen that I suggested David Gold be parachuted into the centre circle at Carrow Road to then head down the tunnel and up to the boardroom with the rest of his emergency repair team with a view to taking over permanently as a second venture to his current one.

OP raises some good points but the reality is there is not likely to be any other outside investment imminent. We are stuck with what we''ve got.

''The Board must go.''

It''s a good job someone has a grasp of how this Club is owned and run and can so clearly and accurately analyse the present position.
