Wes Hoolahan's right foot...

Recommended Posts

Haven''t seen Olsson or Brady play like this for us for a bloody while. Where were these lung busting direct runs when we were playing Sunderland?

Or are they just surrounded by better players today?

Gotta feel sorry for Wes, no matter how well he''s playing or is still involved in the game he never get''s to see a game out and help his team secure victory. It must be so frustrating

They take an influential Hoolahan off and go for a two up top and end up completely conceding possession and barely being able to string a pass together in the final third...looks familiar somehow

Ireland can barely keep the ball without him.

Bit like us, really. Invaluable player.

On another note, Bradys now good again and Olsson has got forward really well. Holding onto those two will be difficult

Great goal, all three city players looked decent, nice to see all three together after the final whistle.

I still find the idea that Zlatan is in Messi/Ronaldo/Bale/Neymar/Suarez or even someone like Rooney''s class laughable. He''s a great player, sure, but one of the best in the world? I''ve seen him play maybe 15 times now and I just can''t see why

He said his calf muscle was getting tight and he was fatigued.. it went mental in this little pub when he scored. Also noted by the Irish that tbree of the best players on the pitch were Nor-which (as they say it) players .
