Footballer loses Legs in Hit 'N' Run

Recommended Posts

Has anyone seen this story and do you have any idea who the drive of the hit and run was?

If you have any information, you know what to do...

I grew up in Cambridge with one of these two guys and feel the need to help spread the story and hopefully catch this sad individual.

Shaun''s friends have started a crowdfunding page for him. If you want to get involved the link is below:

I saw that story, really sad for the lad, really hope they catch the driver and get him off our roads. At least he has a positive outlook and wish him well for his wedding next year.

I don''t know much about Shaun, but Joey Abbs has played for loads of local/East Anglian clubs... Newmarket, Cambridge City, Mildenhall, Fulbourn and now Soham.

He was an incredible talent as a kid, always the star player at school and made other players look like statues with his Giggs-esk dribbling abilities.

He has trials at Norwich City when in his teens.
