Woodman 92 Posted July 15, 2016 Keelan was my first hero when I first began watching NCFC - a true legend of the club. Can you imagine how idolised he would be these days? like Huckerby x10.
Lessingham Canary 99 Posted July 15, 2016 Never realised there were so many on here of such an age, always felt like I was mixing with the young and with it in crowd...........
Horse Renoir 1 Posted July 15, 2016 @Woodman. Hucks was my hero growing up, I''ve never been so excited and thrilled by a player in our team in every single game he played. Saying Keelan was 10x as good is some claim! What was it about him that made him such a legend in your eyes? For Hucks it was his passion, pace, trickery, goals and love of NCFC. I know nothing about Keelan really, I understand he was a special goalkeeper, but what in your opinion would have made him even more reverential than Hucks? Cheers
Crafty Canary 495 Posted July 15, 2016 I, too, have seen them all play, Ken Brown for West Ham alongside John Bond. Bill Punton was lethal under floodlights as he would run with his head down and the opposing full back was dazzled by the light reflecting off his bald pate
