RVW love in!!

Recommended Posts

Sorry but I for one am glad to see the back of possibly one of the worse signings Norwich City made. Much has been said about not playing to his strengths, but we need versatile players who can adapt to different tactics not one trick ponies. Alex Neil has obviously seen enough in two pre seasons to ship him out at the earliest opportunity. Being paid a millionaires wage yet being out performed by the hungry younger players trying to break into the team in preseason!! Who can forget the ghost pass a Fulham. Nice guy he may be, but that doesn''t warrant a starting place. Too lightweight and more concerned about his hair than playing his heart out.

hahaha comparisons to Lineker and Muller, who indeed were top class strikers. Unfortunately Ricky never has nor never will fall into that bracket. Give it up, he''s gone.....it''s over....bless

Oh if only the one trick he had was the same one lineker and muller possessed then it probably wouldn''t have been an issue, but in reality he didn''t possess a single footballing trick at all. I would suggest though that in today''s game the complete striker needs to be more than one dimensional. Who knows how Muller and Lineker would perform in today''s game??

The one trick RvW did possess however was pocketing copious amounts of money under the pretence of being a top class striker.

Hardly the earliest opportunity was it? Neil has been manager for 19 months. RVW should have been sold a long time ago.

Not if your prepared to sell way below market value it isn''t, which is what we eventually ended up doing. We could have sold him for 500k at any time over the last couple of years, and taken his wages off the books.
