Ipswich 1-2 Union St Gilloise

Don''t want to talk about them too much but they have just lost at home to Union St Gilloise

For anyone who doesn''t know who they are they''re a Suffolk based team who play in the championship.

I''m of the opinion that friendlies are pretty meaningless but losing to a belgian 2nd tier team is pretty funny

Were you there we were very good secolnd half, they would beat most teams in the Championship poor first half was managers fault not the players wrong team selection

Why are people getting so down on Neil for the first half? He said that the last few preseason games were about trying out combinations, he was trying the murphy/Whittaker combination, it didn''t work so he changed it. This is exactly what a friendly is for, if the first time it was tried was in a league match and the same had happened then we could justifiably said why didnt he try it in aatch that didn''t matter...

I agree Cornish, Murphy just wasn''t defending enough so we were getting exposed. AN said himself it was nothing on Murphy but a required tactical change. Obviously if it had been a league game we would have been set up differently from the off. Friendlies are a chance to try new players in new tactics
