Clint 221 Posted August 3, 2016 It starts in 3 days.We have 5 league and a couple of cup matches between now and then so although we may well have another forward in by the end of August, what happens if Jerome gets injured in training tomorrow or continues with his form of last season? Like missing an open goal as he did last Saturday! Last season, had we signed Mbokani in July rather than the end of August, he may well have scored a couple more goals to keep us up, given the winnable matches we had in that period and the chances being missed by Jerome and Grabban. Unless we pull a Mark Robins out of the bag between now and Friday, August could be a real struggle.
Chemical Bro 0 Posted August 3, 2016 Do you not think every club/manager wants to have all their business done by the big kick off? It''s just the way it goes sometimes. We''ve got Jerome, lafferty and you could say naismith as striker options for first few games. Is it the end of the world?

Indy 3,283 Posted August 3, 2016 Morris, Murphy, Laffs, Naismith, Jerome to name a few who can play up top.I don''t think McCormack is anywhere near match fit and will take a few weeks to get there!I''ve a feeling we might be signing Campbell on loan?
