Would the board please explain
Or to put it another way, massively well done to the owners for managing to give us such success and stability against such odds.... Or yet another way, how pointless is it to have new, wealthy owners who don''t care about the club since they''re all doing so badly at getting promoted....
The owners of Leicester City Football Club are doing a terrible job qualifying for the Champions League, a cup competition after all, something Delia & Wynnie find abhorrent along with their clappy happy cohorts.

Sad thing is Vince, none of your posts hold any credibility - you simply wait for some downturn in the clubs fortunes to post your unsubstantiated, poorly worded and frankly boring posts, then if something positive happens (like we get promoted), we won''t hear from you again...

Yes, well done to Leicester, Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City and all of those other wealthy owners who have succeeded, doesn''t change the fact that the clappy happy cohorts have still managed to outperform all of the other clubs that are richer than us though does it Vince?

I know Delia and Wynnie aren''t perfect and it would be nice to have more money, but, it isn''t the salve that many seem to think it is and they should get some credit for what they have achieved.

Okay so you are saying it is a good idea to buy yet another midfielder instead of a striker to back up or replace the boy Jerome?

If the boy Jerome gets injured or suspended who, with any credibility is going to replace him?
Why didn''t you come to the fans forum Crafty and ask about how much money is being spent on consultants, the board won''t reply on a messageboard will they?
He does live about 200+ miles away my Little Angel to be fair to him.

Oh dear Crafty. I didn''t say we couldn''t afford McCormack, I said we couldn''t compete with richer clubs. Not Chelsea, Man City or Man Utd, who are a division above us, but Villa, who are in the same division.

So Crafty, it seems like even though the board hasn''t explained about our failure with RM, AN has. £45,000pw for 4 years on a 30yr old striker is far too much money and I think more than we were paying anyone in the prem, let alone the chanps.

What with Newcastle throwing a reputed £60k pw at Matt Ritchie it really does make a mockery of FFP levelling the playing field, at least Newcastle sell out a 50k stadium each week and have sold something like £40m worth of players to justify their expenditure...

When the club got to learn what his demands would be isn''t that the time to withdraw? Before negotiating with Fulham over a fee surely you''d make contact with the agent to find out if the player would be interested and, if so, what his demands would be. This would have saved a lot of time.
What the club''s transfer policy is and why Villa can complete the RMc transfer in three days whilst we spend weeks failing to achieve anything?

How much are we spending on the consultants who have helped the club to achieve sweet FA this close season in the transfer market?

Fox trotting to the top!
I would imagine it''s in part a similar reason to the one which meant we were able to conclude the Pritchard transfer in a couple of days after he had spent a lot longer talking to Brighton.Nuff Said

But crafty, that would be tapping up and illegal... Also, what''s to say we hadn''t and his original demands were affordable then villa came in and threw money at it, hence getting it done in 3 days

As we hadn''t agreed a fee with Fulham then we should not have contact with the player and his agent. So how do we know what his wages are? Did Villa contact us to tell us?
