nutty nigel 7,351 Posted April 20, 2016 Welcome to week thirty eight of our Rays Funds season. This week we have THE man, the real deal, the PUPs legend and five times previous winner Yankee Canary in charge and making the final six selections. Five previous wins is immense. I can remember Yankee’s first win which was our first win. Ray put him straight back into bat and he won again. Ray wanted Yankee to pick the final six forever, well at least until he got one wrong, but Yankee stood aside to let others have winning weeks. From those first wins all the others have followed and now £5,088 has been raised on these threads. Yes from little acorns oak trees grow but I will never forget how we rejoiced when Yankee got us those first wins. I really hope he can record his 6 timer this weekend. As ever we can all help by providing our very best selections from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on the William Hill web site. It has to be Bill Hill this week because we have two free bets thanks to Wooster’s unlucky lines last weekend. We have to use these up this weekend so it will be a £20 bet this week. There’s no Norwich game this weekend so all our efforts can go to help Yankee find six bankers. Now I’ll hand the thread over to Yankee Canary. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Clyde ... the thread is yours....... YankeeCanary 0 Posted April 21, 2016 Spurs to beat WBA.Thanks Nutty. One small thing....the last time I tried for some reason I am unable to access/check the William Hill site so I will plan on inputting the final six no later than 8 p.m your time on Friday. If there is any problem with the selections that should give you enough time to advise and I will respond promptly.P.S: How on earth did you know about my little acorns. I thought that secret was safe with my wife.
TIL 1010 4,656 Posted April 21, 2016 A very good evening to you Nutty and naturally good luck to Yankee and all you other lovely PUPs out there. An AWAY win in the game Charlton v BRIGHTON at 1/2 looks a good price to me as Charlton head towards League One and Brighton look to keep the pressure on near the top following their midweek demolition of QPR. AJ 1,218 Posted April 22, 2016 My form of late has been something similar to Norwich''s own form. With that logic in mind, there''s no Norwich match this weekends so hopefully the footballing gods will look down on my Pup pick with mercy this week after I have suffered no end of shock results over the past few weeks! We''re starting to come to the tail end of the season where some teams already have very little to play for, and for the others who might have done enough to survive relegation, the pressure might be off enough to spring up a fair few surprise results. With that in mind it makes sense to pick teams who do have things to fight for.Plymouth sit 4th in League 2 level on points with 3rd place Oxford in the auto promotion spots, but have a much lower GD. Dag and Redbridge have already been relegated, and the wind truly ripped from their sails they lost their previous game quite comfortably 2-0 to Wimbledon. Plymouth should have enough hunger to put a few goals past Dag and Red who have conceded a whopping 77 goals so far this season. Current odds on Plymouth to win are 1/3, so not fantastic but at the end of the day it''s all about winning. Plymouth home win for me please.Good luck Yankee and everyone! The Great Drinkell 50 Posted April 22, 2016 There''s massive game at the wrong end of league 1 this weekend, where Fleetwood take on Blackpool not only is this the local derby but if Blackpool win they leap frog Fleetwood out of the relegation places and probably put Fleetwood in there. This is there last chance to avoid another relegation and I''m going to tip them Fleetwood v Blackpool Away winGood luck Yankee

PurpleCanary 5,530 Posted April 22, 2016 The West Section of the Austrian Regionaliga.Dornbirn to win at home against Reichenau.Dornbirn have an 8-3-0 and 36/3 home record. Reichenau have a 1-2-8 and 8/33 away record. Against those figures, though, is the fact that Dornbirn, despite being 3rd, have little chance of promotion. Good luck to all!
