Spurs were a disgrace tonight. Everyone was saying could Leicester keep their cool under pressure but in the end it was Spurs that couldn''t handle it in the last 2 games.

If Burnley had drawn with or lost to QPR, we would have seen less yellow cards tonight as it would be more likely Middlesbrough would be promoted and therefore the North-East powerhouse would still have representation in the PL.  As it was, the fact Burnley won and are therefore promoted means Middlesbrough are not guaranteed of Premiership football and therefore the referee tonight decided to weaken the opposition for the other North-East team knowing their future fixtures and need for points.
It is all absolutely plausible.
