If he has gone and we are back with Delia and co running affairs we will be more likely to be playing Doncaster than Man U again

I have no idea whether McNally has resigned, although that Humphrey tweet doesn''t look like he is taking a flyer. Against that, it would be weird to resign before we are mathematically relegated. But if he has there is an obvious reason. The high-risk summer strategy of holding out for a top-clas central defender was just that - high-risk. And failed. And has cost us. If that strategy was McNally''s then it would be cause to offer (note the offer) to resign. The intriguing aspect (if true) is whether this is the first sign of Ed Balls getting tough.

I think many are overlooking that we have a chairman in Ed Balls who has said little since his appointment on the demise of NCFC.

He is also a financial guru in his own right, more so than McNally!

Has he walked before being pushed!

And what has Ed Balls brought to the club to warrant this call?

It''s suicide by this questionable board members, I have to ask what CV does Balls have to be in this position? Or was it the easy option for Delia?

It''s the same as AN though isn''t it? Who out there is a better bet? There is no alternative who won''t be a massive risk. If there was, they would have been snapped up by someone like Forest, Derby, Middleborough etc.

The owners brought him to the club, they clearly wanted him here as Bowketts replacement.

He brings to the club more financial prowess than McNally appears to have shown. You don''t become shadow chancellor without knowing sound financial business practice. The question is, has McN shown that in the last four years. Yes he got us in the black and was paid handsomely for it..........but at what cost........!

Not sure what to make of this at this stage. Nothing official yet. On one hand McNally has done a stupendous job of saving us from financial suicide and League one taking us to almost Premier League regulars and back up again when we dropped down after spending all that money.

On the other hand our fight to stay up was all too little too late. No investment in strikers has hurt us badly and no improvement in a previously relegated defence in the summer has left us in the same position all over again.

Bit torn but maybe change is necessary for the club to progress

You acquire political ministerial office at the whim of the party leader. Look at the pitiful excuse for a shadow defence secretary that the opposition currently has thanks to Comrade Corbyn.

Balls up has bugg@r all real world financial experience so far as I am aware.
How many times do I have to say Twitter Hack
26 and a half.

If that is the story.  Is it "twitter hack", or, "oh no I''ve made an arse of myself, best say it''s a twitter hack"?

Taking an awfully long time to deny it if it''s a simply twitter hack. The club is aware of it by now. Think this has legs.

Really, did you study at Harvard with him too?

Balls was Chief Economic Advisor to the Treasury (1997–2004).
