[:)]
The poster said that Ed Ball is '' one of the world''s most respected economists '' i questioned his hands on experiences compared to Bowkett. Bowkett was Chairman during three promotions and a victory at Wembley. One relegation in six years at the helm whereas Ed will have one relegation under his belt inside six months. This thread is about McNally so to get back on topic two relegations in three years with no Premiership ,lessons learnt coupled with last night''s episode plus the famous '' relegation will be worse than death '' quote last time round does not sit well with me. but then again i am sure as night follows day the stick to beat the club with mantra will be wheeled out/
You can hardly hide your delight, can you?
So you honestly think i am delighted do you Morty ? [:)]But the number of times he allowed crosses to get into the box, the number of second balls he didn''t pick up, the tackles he didn''t complete, his lack of running around a lot, his poor chance to goal conversion rate and his terrible injury record are what blighted our season. I expect our next chairman will be able to right all of these wrongs singlehandedly. [;)]

At the end of the game yesterday there were a few boos venting disappointment. There was no particular object of blame. As far as I saw no banners demanding someone out. On my slow amble down riverside, and it is so slow I''m likened to a caravan on a motorway, I saw no discontent whatsoever and certainly no heads being called for. It was much the same on here when I had a look yesterday evening. And then that tweet. Now everybody has a target for blame and this place, twitter and facebook are demanding all sorts of things happen to McNally. I see my old buddy Jim Smith wants him sacked. But then dear old Jim wants everyone sacked at some point or another. I''d never have lasted cleaning his bogs. No, whether by design or not McNally has drawn the fire and protected the owners, management and players. You could almost see a bonus being paid....
