Well let''s get back on topic almost 24 hours and the club still haven''t commented. Really really odd. Still think something is going on.

Ed Balls is one of the world''s most respected economists, and his experience will be invaluable in challenging and questioning all decision making surrounding how the club is run as a business.  His appointment is entirely appropriate to bring scrutiny to the dealings of our club in all financial matters including the way we manage our transfer dealings.
I would encourage you to look at the man''s qualifications and not at the party he supports.
Businesses are full of well educated people who rise to the top by having half the alphabet after their name who can lecture gathered assemblies but talking the talk is a long way from walking the walk.Bowkett had vast life experience of running successful companies so maybe you can tell me where and when Ed Balls actually rolled his sleeves up and got his hands dirty so to speak ?
It''s not like we''ve never been relegated under the chairmanship of Mr Bowkett................Oh...........well. [:)]
The poster said that Ed Ball is '' one of the world''s most respected economists '' i questioned his hands on experiences compared to Bowkett. Bowkett was Chairman during three promotions and a victory at Wembley. One relegation in six years at the helm whereas Ed will have one relegation under his belt inside six months. This thread is about McNally so to get back on topic two relegations in three years with no Premiership ,lessons learnt coupled with last night''s episode plus the famous '' relegation will be worse than death '' quote last time round does not sit well with me. but then again i am sure as night follows day the stick to beat the club with mantra will be wheeled out/
You can hardly hide your delight, can you?
So you honestly think i am delighted do you Morty ? Really ? My hymn sheet maybe different to yours but hey ho i can live with that but at least i am not running around this morning calling people '' pricks '' and '' wangs ''  at almost every opportunity to be found.
[Y]
Football and football finance has little in common with building and running a conventional business. And even less in common with matters discussed and dealt with at the Treasury.

Balls''s experience is that of a career socialist politician, a background that appeals to Delia but is totally inappropriate to the advancement of NCFC.

He was appointed Senior Fellow at John F. Kennedy School of Government and also became Visiting Professor of King''s College, London in October 2015.
Those are heavyweight institutions, very much so.  They would only hire the very best.
Whatever you may think is, frankly, irrelevant.

Why make a comment as a matter of fact, when you obviously didn''t have a clue ?

His cake making skills are also a triumph. [:)]But the number of times he allowed crosses to get into the box, the number of second balls he didn''t pick up, the tackles he didn''t complete, his lack of running around a lot, his poor chance to goal conversion rate and his terrible injury record are what blighted our season. I expect our next chairman will be able to right all of these wrongs singlehandedly. [;)]
And, frankly, don''t you dare lecture me on morals and social etiquette.
What the heck has that statement got to do with anything posted on here Morty ? No lecture just pointing out what what i have read within a few minutes of reading what is carnage on this messageboard. What did you really expect to be seeing when you got up and turned on your laptop ? I do note however that since i last posted bell end has also been churned out in one of your posts. Sad really sad. As somebody has said when you accuse posters of following you around the board....you can hardly avoid you !

Well it couldn''t have worked out better if he''d done it for the purpose Rickyyyy...

At the end of the game yesterday there were a few boos venting disappointment. There was no particular object of blame. As far as I saw no banners demanding someone out. On my slow amble down riverside, and it is so slow I''m likened to a caravan on a motorway, I saw no discontent whatsoever and certainly no heads being called for. It was much the same on here when I had a look yesterday evening. And then that tweet. Now everybody has a target for blame and this place, twitter and facebook are demanding all sorts of things happen to McNally. I see my old buddy Jim Smith wants him sacked. But then dear old Jim wants everyone sacked at some point or another. I''d never have lasted cleaning his bogs.

No, whether by design or not McNally has drawn the fire and protected the owners, management and players. You could almost see a bonus being paid....
You know as well as I do Nigel, that managers, owners, CEO''s of NCFC are kings when things are going well and Cnuts when they aren''t.It was ever thus.

Well he was in a weakened position before this farce. It hardly creates an atmosphere of optimism for the future, but i have a funny feeling everything will work out fine next season
