I doubt very much that McNally was going to pop up at the back post with a header against Everton.

I suppose it could be argued that this might be unsettling but I''m not sure that I buy that, I''d be amazed if the players give two hoots and I''m sure that Alex Neil is stressing it''s "business as usual" - which means we should lose at home to Watford on Wednesday..

I don''t but that Duncan, this sort of unrest involving such a high profile individual at the club will unsettle the manager and the players.

It''s the last thing we need before such an important game.

As for the result being a forgone conclusion, I genuinely believe we can get a result against Watford.

The CEO leaving will not make any difference to the players (except maybe if some of them did not like him) that''s leaving aside the likelihood that Sunderland will win one of their games rendering our results irrelevant.
