Ricky Martin

Recommended Posts

Let me start by saying, I''m already feeling positive about next season, and this is in no way meant as a negative post or a witch hunt, but............ Ricky Martin, what does this guy do? Over the past few seasons he seems to have been involved a lot on the "football side" but somehow seems to escape any form of criticism whatsoever. Last time out in the championship he had his own page in the programme, seemingly he works with the manager and players on a daily basis, he is a director of the club (is he not?) on the face of it he is leading a pretty comfortable life, what is his position, and what is he judged on?

He makes you take your clothes off, and go dancing in the rain

He makes you live the crazy life, and he takes away your pain

By loaning Ricky out to Spain

Suffolk 7 - An excellent question that I doubt will ever be answered but his position tells you all you need to know about our owners and their fantastic record of appointments

he deals with the transfer side of business now

Tony Spearing works directly with AN as head of recruitment

identifies targets and plans scouting etc

so RM is on the football board with AN & TS and deals with paperwork side of things

Mcnally used to do this side but was moved aside

so Ricky Martin contacts & deals with the agents / paperwork etc side of things on behalf of the board

good job for someone who couldnt get in the wroxham or diss side

He woke up

In Norwich city

In a funky, cheap hotel (in the corner of the ground)

So, is he the one who decides how much we''ll offer for a player? e.g. Player A (A for Afobe for example) is available. AN says I''d like to sign him, then RM says OK, you can offer £xm and £x,000 per week. Player A''s agent and team laughs, says no and then we end up with Player B (B for Bamford for example).

The Man from Mulbarton is the Technical Director at Colney and not a boardroom director at Carrow Road. I do not think he deals with agents, players or signings.

Met him once. Seemed like an arrogant tw@t

🙀 Sounds like you may be developing the early symptoms of an "agenda"
