pete 318 Posted March 11, 2016 For Sunderland to stay up they need points at home as they are as bad in away games as City. Five games left against WBA, Leicester, Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton. They could easily lose all 5. So maybe a chink of light but loss at Carrow Rd to either Newcastle or Sunderland will extinguish that light. However we have a good record at home against the Mackems and on TV.If we can start to perform salvation may be possible. Newcastle could survive but seem as doomed as City players not up for the fight.
Chip20 69 Posted March 11, 2016 Aye; it is hard to envisage us staying up if we fail to gain maximum points against our two immediate relegation rivals, although we obviously need some points from elsewhere too. On average both sides have been as bad as us all season so we need to get our noses in front. Hopefully they cancel each other out when they play each other; I dunno which I would prefer to win if one of them has to.
