Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 32

Recommended Posts

Welcome to week thirty two of

our Rays Funds season. This week it’s Statto’s turn to be in

charge of our final six selections. Statto is another of our loyal PUPs with

many year’s service. He’s also a past winner of the final six and another

consistent picker who’s always got good stats in our PUPs league. Statto has a

great tagline with his selections each week when he states what we all feel by

wishing for a City win and a PUPs win. Let’s all help him with our very best

selection from the games played on
Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on

the William Hill or Bet 365 web sites.

This week we have four times

final six winner Cosmic Twin looking after the match bets for our game against

Manchester City. Cosmic made legendary status with her fourth final six win of

over £73 last month and will be looking for our help to achieve ‘the double’

this weekend. Cosmic, you have a tenner to spend from the PUPs selections and

your own.

Week 32 already means we are

on the home run for the season. It’s absolutely flown by for us on Rays Funds. This

season will comprise of 41 weeks instead of the usual 40 and I’ve compiled the

final six rota until the end of the season. I really wish we could fit all our

regular PUPs in but to do that we’d probably have to carry on for 52 weeks! The

PUPs who finished in last year’s top 40 will all have had a turn with the

exception of the ones who haven’t been posting very often this season. Some,

who finished outside that 40 and are posting regularly this season will now get

a chance to pick this season. Some regulars this season will still have to wait

but I promise to fit them in asap next season. Here’s that rota so please let

me know with your selections if the weeks are ok : -

Good luck both!I''m going for a nailed-on banker this week, which should hopefully bring home the bacon on Monday night. In the Portuguese league, a classic top-versus-bottom between Benfica and Tondela - home win. Benfica have just won in freezing St Petersburg in the Champions League, so with five days to recover they should be totally recharged to see off the relegation certainties. Odds are unsurprisingly short at around 1/9.For the match bet, Man City to win and both teams to score at 9/4 seems reasonable. For something completely left-field, how about Man City to win 5-2 at odds of 100/1? We have a defence like a sieve, but still have a goal or two in us as well.

Blackpool v COVENTRY - AWAY WIN @13/10

City bet AGUERO to score in the first 10 mins is 16/1 which looks good value to me!

Delighted to be asked to pick too Nutty!

Consider it confirmed.

I need a banker or two for the run in, so I''m going for a home win for AEK Athens against Panthrakikos, odds are 1/8.

For the NCFC bet, I fancy a Draw Halftime/Draw Fulltime scenario.

Good luck to Statto, Cosmic and all other PUPs.

Hi PUPs I''ll go to the Turkish league this week for Fenerbahçe vs. Kayserispor (home win).

For the City bet I''ll also go for a rollicking performance with Man City H/T, draw F/T (possibly with a sneaky red card).

Best wishes everyone!

In a little earlier than normal this week due to having the next couple of days away.

I''m on a bit of a shocking run of late - I''m not quite sure how as I''ve been picking with the same logic all season. But that''s luck for you sometimes.

I''m going with Colchester vs Wigan AWAY WIN this week. Colchester, much like myself, on a run of terrible form and Wigan 2nd top should have enough to take home the three points.

As for the Norwich bet realistically we can''t expect a lot from the game. We''ve given away a few set plays against the top teams this season so I think putting in a bet of Penalty Given and Scored (either side) @ 5 looks a decent return - even if we''re on the receiving end rather than the scoring.

Forgot to add, of course, best of luck to both Statto and Cosmic. As much as I''d love to see us bag 3 points I think we''re probably in for another miserable weekend on the pitch - so hopefully the Pups can deliver at least a little bit of joy off it!

After grabbing 6 points last week I would think the Swansea players are breathing a little easier this week, this week they can carry on climbing up the league with a win at Bournemouth. although I would expect a close match I''ll take the Swans to fly off back to Wales with the 3 points

Bournemouth V Swansea Away Win

As for the match bet I can''t see anything other than a City win ....Unfortunately Man City needing to win to stay in touch with the leaders they are not going to be holding back I do expect us to score so for value lets find the scorer of this goal.......... I''ll go for Naismith to score at any time

Good luck pickers

NN 30th April sits just fine with me - thank you.

I''m going for a home win for Benfica v. Tondela.

Benfica are W10 DO L2 F36 A9 at home and Tondela are W2 D2 L8 F12 A20 away.

Good Luck, Statto28!

Thanks for your pedantic support Tilly! Just to reassure you, I learnt a long time ago not to pay too much attention to my Dad''s footy opinions. Ever since he thought that Chris Sutton should be a central defender!

All help gratefully received for the Norwich bet!

It was International Women''s Day this week....many fine, intelligent and important women made meaningful statements...then Kim Kardashian opened an envelope and went back to 1978. Show her how it''s done Hilary....

The excellent Cosmic needs no such assistance, though it''s an hour opportune week to select the Danish Elitedivisionen:

ASA vs Fortuna Horring - away win

Buona Fortuna...

Parma 🎉💁👏🍝💰🍾🍾🇮🇹🍀🍀

Statto''s Norwich bet is tricky fight between heart and head, good and evil...

Will have to be specific outcomes I think. The return to the 3511 looks likely and opportune. So how about long odds on Norwich to keep a clean sheet?

It''s what we''ll play for, how we''ll set up and football logic is a funny mistress......

Norwich clean sheet

Parma 💰😻💁👏🎉💰💰🕶

Still cross with myself for messing Mr J and Cosmic around. Here''s hoping all''s well that ends well.

For Statto I''m going to suggest Bradford City     v     Doncaster Rovers     Home Win.

And for Cosmic I''m going to be mental and suggest a small stake on Cameron Jerome scoring for us in a 1-0 win which is 65/1. Reason being that despite missing Cam has still managed to be in position to score. Cam has also scored in big games against Man City and Man Utd this season. And Man City are really not that prolific away from home having scored 13 and conceded 14. It sounds good anyway...

Under 3.5 goals @ 2/5 looks a fair shout for the Norwich match if we play 5 at the back and don''t get tonked. Good luck Cosmic.

National League North this week, and I think Solihull Moors (1st place, 68 points from 32 games) will win at home to relegation-threatened Lowestoft Town (20th place, 33 points from 31 games).

For the Norwich bet, I''ll be a bit dull and opt for both teams to score.

Best of luck Statto, Cosmic and all PUPs.

Germany for me, and a home win for Bayern Munich home win V Werder Bremen.

And for the City bet Bamford to score anytime (he must score 1 for us while here on loan).

Good luck all, especially Tilly, looking forward to a winning weekend. ;-)
