Van wink 2,994 Posted March 30, 2016 Huge amount of respect for him as a pundit but an astonishing misjudgement for him to take the job in the first place.
It's Character Forming 1,156 Posted March 30, 2016 Bizarre to appoint someone with no knowledge of their league and no managerial experience either , what did they think? You can be good at playing and analysing football but still not be able to manage a football team.., people need to wise up a bit. Have to say I''m of the same opinion, sure he must rue the day he took that job, however I''m sure he will go on to become a good manager, there is a saying "those that can do, and those that cant talk about it" I believe he is the exception and could do both ! Lewis DW 11 Posted March 31, 2016 Shock horror - Inexperienced Englishman fails to control a team of Spaniards! This was always going to be a short tenure and proves nothing about Gary Neville''s managerial or coaching abilities. Sir Alex would have failed in Spain. Can you imagine if all your colleagues and workers spoke a completely different language and style of football to you? Was a ridiculous appointment in the first place.
