Morty would defend the board if we were slipping out of the football league. You wonder if he is one of them!

Criticism this season is entirely justified. We have shown zero ambition and risked the same back 4 that got us relegated last time. Unforgivable and might be our last chance for many seasons

You are a broken record old chap. You''ll say just the same after the deadline except it''ll be ''save your whining for May''!

Ah, that old chestnut! I post when things are both good and bad. The lack of transfer dealings so far could really cost us our position in this league. If you''re happy with our business so far than good for you, unfortunately I do not share you''re optimism!

It''s a fair point. We''ve had 4 matches so far in Jan of which we''ve been heavily beaten in 3 of them.

We look terrible at the back and offer nothing going forward. If we continue to play like this and don''t get any players in soon, we''ll really be in the brown stuff.

You may have noticed the other teams have all started picking up points, probably due to having already made good use of the transfer window.

When people going to get it WE CAN''T AFFORD players who have personal demands that OTHER clubs CAN pay.

If you support NCFC you just have to accept that we aren''t bankrolled by a billionaire with bottom pockets.

If we have the money WHY do you think the board wouldn''t use it?

If you support NCFC you just have to accept that we aren''t bankrolled by a billionaire with bottomless pockets.

If we had the money WHY do you think the board wouldn''t use it? They want us to stay up as much as any supporter!

And who cares what Morty says? Write what you want, and we will discuss it. Morty, whatever the obsession with this guy is, just has to bare with it.

It boils down to the board not wanting to gamble, they have or can get the money if they need to, this club will NEVER go under, theres too many people that are happy to pack out Carrow Road week in week out even if we were in the 5th tier!!! the clubs negative geographical positioning is also one of its most positive aspects, we are the only damn thing around here worth watching!!!!!the truth is the board are too safe, and the problem with that is that top flight football is expensive, its big business, its not 1992 anymore, if you cant afford it, or arent willing to risk it, then sell up to someone who is

No offense ironman but I trust McNally''s judgement on how far we should push things than yours.

Let''s agree to disagree!

iron stan...dear oh dear.  If City wanted Afobe badly enough they would have gone all out between 2nd and 8th of Jan. to get him. On 7th Jan Kenny Jackett stated there had been no interest, no offers, for the guy. Bournemouth made a very quick swoop for him on 8th Jan. When he  virtually signed for them, a reporter asked Alex about Afobe, his reply was not interested. So why would the Board spend big money on a guy that Alex had lost interest in?
