DEB (never forgotten) 0 Posted January 18, 2016 Sunderland and Norwich City sent scouts to the game between Bordeaux and Lille on Saturday night according to reports in France. Bordeaux have become the focus of several clubs from the Premier League this season including Sunderland.French journalist Olivier Schwob has confirmed on Twitter that the two Premier League sides attended the game at the weekend, which Bordeaux won 1-0. With the transfer window set to close in 14 days, Sunderland and Norwich City may be looking to bring in players from the French league before the deadline. Both clubs face the prospect of relegation this season, and need to strengthen their squads to avoid the drop, however, there are no reports to who the two clubs were monitoring at the game.Bordeaux have also been scouted by a number of other English sides this season including Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Everton, Swansea, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Aston Villa. These clubs are looking to discover what talent is coming through the French system and, along with Bordeaux, clubs like Rennes have also been scouted this season by Premier League sides. Norwich City were seen at Rennes earlier in the season, when they watched the club take on Marseille.

Legend Iwan 30 Posted January 18, 2016 My guess would be that they were both there to watch CB Lamine Sane, who''s already interested Aston Villa and has been touted about to an array of clubs over the last couple of weeks.Would much rather we were watching the two mentioned in the post above, although the first one is highly unlikely.
