McNally states that the bulk of the work is done, but hinting there maybe more.
Wonder if the Haller deal has been knocked on the head 100%. McNally''s words, plus those of Haller''s agent and the deafening silence make me wonder if this could happen as we get closer to the window closing.

Would be interested to hear what people think.

The longer this goes on the more likely there is a problem, last thing we want is to waste £8m on an injured player, best to pull out ?

Much more from all 3 in tomorrow''s EDP & EN. David McNally says "bulk" of transfer business done but are "still looking" at options.
Wonder what ''looking at options'' means?
I should imagine offloading Hooper and Lafferty will open up other options.
About time. It''s been quite a saga!
Saw on twitter that he wanted to come last summer, but Everton didn''t secure a replacement, so wouldn''t let him go.

Yes, any further business is going to be a complicated arrangement involving offloading those two and bringing in somebody better.

Would be great if that can be achieved but somehow I suspect it''s going to be too complicated and we will run out of time.

Up there with the signing of Huckerby (not just Naismith) but the fact we signed 5, 4 decent first teamers, magic !

About bloody time!

Do other clubs have such protracted transfers?

We could all have read ''War and Peace'' back to front the time it''s taken to put this to bed.......
