Well done Giallanza

Recommended Posts

One of my past heroes (if only for a few months before his cruciate injury) is Klose''s agent, Gaetano Gialanza, as has been noted on here recently. Just read how he pushed the Klose deal to happen showing him videos and talking about the crowd and the passionate fans. Pleased that there has been some kind of connection and good feeling that has lasted 15 plus years. I guess his cut in the deal would also be quite nice!

It''s always good to see ex players recommend the club and having GG as an agent may benefit us again in the future. I remember Nedergaard use to convince Scandinavians about us but we seem to of stopped buying them since the worthy days, apart from Tettey and he was from Rennes.

I wonder what other ex players are out there who could recommend players to join in the future??

GG was a good player for us. Him and Iwan had just started to click until the injury.

He is one of the players you do think "what if?" About.... i think he''d have become a legend for us.

Didn''t he score against Ipswich? If I''m remembering correctly then he''s already a bit of a legend for us!

5 goals in 11 games for us but sadly none against the binners.

I remember he scored twice against Sheffield united at home and looked like he was going to beat them on his own!!!

That was his last game for us, he was chasing a ball unchallenged and just crumpled. Real shame. I think he''d have been a hero for us.
