lake district canary 4,531 Posted January 24, 2016 Goal difference is a real indication of how well a team is doing and the bottom six clubs at present shows this exactly -Swansea - 9Muff -11NCFC -15Newcastle - 16Sunderland - 18Villa - 20The crunch time is coming where we simply have to win a game or two as much to restore the GD as well as getting the points tally up. Two or three losses in our next few games would not only put us in the bottom three points wise, but would render our GD way too high as well, making the overall picture look even bleaker. We''re still ok, but we have to improve. Nothing for it but to beat Spurs......after all, we should have beaten Liverpool........
Ivan Easter 0 Posted January 24, 2016 We have to get back to winning ways as the teams below us are now making good progress. Nervy times ahead now

Katie Borkins 1 Posted January 24, 2016 Of course, the real benefit of winning games is the points difference. If we ground out 1-0 victories from here on in we would be fine.Or 4-3 victories, more likely.

Oh and a couple of defeats by them lot down the A140.....What was great about that season was the ability to bounce back with good results.....until MU burst the bubble and the dream of glory. We''ll have to bounce back from similar setbacks this season - we know we can play, but can we learn to defend too??
Katie Borkins 1 Posted January 24, 2016 Maybe Klose can be our Vidic and Pinto can be our Des Walker. Same height and all.

Katie Borkins 1 Posted January 24, 2016 Our defence have barely played a game of tennis in their life by the look of it. On your toes, City!
