Stoke have come up with new innovative method...

Yeah you guessed it, I''m still not over Saturday lol.

Looks to me as though Stoke have scored precisely zero goals in 127 minutes of play against Liverpool (at the time of writing).

Seems to me that they could do with some time at the Mbokani, Naismith, Bassong school of finishing. ;)

Liverpool reverting pretty much back to the type they have been all season. I saw a stat before they played us, apparently their goal tally for this season in the league is the lowest in their top-flight history after 22 games. Another sad indictment on our abysmal defence.

Stoke''s 2 centre halves are never any further than about 10 yards apart. Compare that to Bassong and Martin who were never in the same postcode as one and other.

if we''d have defended a third as well as Stoke did tonight, it would have been more than enough to win on Saturday.

Stoke have only themselves to blame tonight, they didnt go for it when they had Liverpool on the ropes.....and even after they put Lucas back into the back 4 , despite Stoke knowing damn well that a goal in extra time would mean that Liverpool would need 2, they were happy to take it to penalties.......always a risk, particularly when ,as we now discover, you have a poor keeper in a penalty situation in Butland!!

we''ll just have to wait for Man City to tear them a new one in the final......
