Hoola Han Solo 448 Posted January 25, 2016 If we don''t spend we have no ambition and if we spend a bit we''re just wasting it on useless players. Can''t win with some of the miserable b astards in our fanbase.
JF 694 Posted January 25, 2016 Don''t know but would imagine there is still a fair bit left available for the right player. Last week we spent £16 million? But have the money of Johnson, Hooper and Grabban coming back, Maybe £15 million there? So there really should be at least one more player coming in I would say
BroadstairsR 2,163 Posted January 25, 2016 He asked a simple question. That''s all. would be interested in the answer too what with all the ins and outs that have evolved''.
BarclayWazza 91 Posted January 25, 2016 Or people could just answer the question....My guess isIns - Jarvis 3m, Godfrey 1m, Pinto 2.5m, Klose 7m, Naismith 8m. Total 21.5m.Outs - Grabban 7m, Hooper 3m, Bennett 0.5m. Total 10.5mNet 11m.

Rich T The Biscuit 562 Posted January 25, 2016 Agree Morty, some people are obsessed with net spend! The way I see it is that we have offloaded 3 players who weren''t going to play and replaced them with 4 from the 5 that will. How much simpler could that be for some people.IF the question is to understand whether we all believe that there is more money to spend on another centre forward or centre half then clearly for the right player/right price it would seem so. TCCANARY 263 Posted January 25, 2016 We agreed a couple of weeks ago that although not completely necessary it would be nice if we splashed out on some new yellow nets.
Rich T The Biscuit 562 Posted January 25, 2016 Now that TC I agree with, and maybe soft seats for all seats and. It just those people who spend more to get the comfort

OldRobert 38 Posted January 25, 2016 I said it before and I''ll say it again, it''s not NET SPEND that matters, it''s NET QUALITY.
GPs Beard 0 Posted January 25, 2016 You would need to include wages , and the overall liability of the contracts , for this "net" position to be relevant. Even then player can renegotiate. Like Ruddy did when Chelsea came sniffing.

Unless you have an intricate knowledge of wages, bonuses etc. there is no way of knowing what the net spend is. It will purely be guesswork. And a guesswork depending on your negative/positive outlook on the club.
stewfil 10 Posted January 27, 2016 Reference Morty''s "Its a loaded question" reply to BroadstairsR, I was just curious because one of the pundits mentioned we had spent 21m this window. So sorry to disappoint you.

Lessingham Canary 99 Posted January 27, 2016 We agreed a couple of weeks ago that although not completely necessary it would be nice if we splashed out on some new yellow nets. And that''s the problem with Net Spending, do just that then someone will want new corner flags, where will it all end? # reckless
