Will Sky never learn?

Recommended Posts

After last year''s massive anti-climax, you would have thought that Sky would perhaps play down ''Deadline Day'' a tad, but no......

....out comes the garish yellow bunting....yellow ties....and endless cliches...

....dishevelled, down-trodden reporters, braving the windy conditions outside each and every PL ground, are called upon, by rota, to report on nothing....zilch....nada......

......whilst over-paid, over-exposed, under-whelming ex-pros and ex-managers are wheeled into the studio by the hour to report on.....nothing...zilch....nada.....ad nauseum......

....where fourteen hours into the twenty-three, the only transfer involving money on the Premier League wall is....

.....Ebou Adams, from Dartford to Norwich City.........

and the whole day has been hijacked by the announcement that Guardiola will be taking over Man City next season.

Yeah, it''s got too the stage where sky build today up too much and it''s more about them than anything else. Jim White is now an irritating nob, Natalie is still ok though 😀

Jim white has his head so far up his own arse. Nothing exciting happens on deadline day. Especially the big guns. Let''s see who man city, Chelsea, Liverpool, tottenham, arsenal, Man United sign today. It''s a big build up to nothing. If Berahino saga and jordan rhodes is the biggest story of the day then that tells it''s own story.

Natalie sawyer on another hand.

Most football fans will dip in and out throughout the day.

The number of people that watch it will be irrelevant to sky. They get their monthly subscription regardless of who watches ''deadline day''.

They have the resources to produce this dross and are intent on proving it.
